    New E30 Owner... after $4,500...

    Just wanted to share my newly acquired daily driver...

    1987 BMW 325e E30 - Cirrusblau (all comments & recommendations are welcome)...

    i've been browsing this forum for about a month now and found this site very helpful in learning things about the E30 and have also purchased good items from good sellers.

    here is the list of all the maintenance & repairs done by Rohan (Founder of E30tunerz in LI, NY). nothing spectacular, just things needed for a good daily driver.

    thanks to those who referred me to Rohan. He is an excellent guy and mechanic and I definitely recommend him.

    1. oil pan gasket
    2. valve cover gasket
    3. transmission rear seal
    4. transmission shifter seal
    5. stabilizer links
    6. AC recharge
    7. 2 power steering hose
    8. front wheel bearings
    9. rear wheel bearings
    10. hood shock
    11. flex disc
    12. e-brake cables
    13. window breaker
    14. upper radiator hose
    15. lower radiator hose
    16. bypass hose
    17. All Belts
    18. fuel filter
    19. distributor cap and rotor (ignition)
    20. thermostat & gasket
    21. timing belt
    22. water pump
    23. timing belt tensioner
    24. ALL water hoses
    25. ALL fluids replaced (transmission, engine, brake, power steering, coolant...)
    26. Z3 short shifter
    27. Exterior and interior Detailing (interior pics to follow)
    28. Flush and Fill Transmission and differential fluid
    29. 14x6.5 US weaves with falken tire (8,000 miles)
    30. US Ellipsoids
    31. New Optima Battery

          i still need new shocks & springs, brake rotors and brake pads....and time to save money...

          any recommendation for performance will be appreciated. not looking to spend crazy money.

            Those are US weaves. Other then that, let the modding start

                        I like the color, number of doors, and the fact that it is an eta (I miss my 4-door eta), but I have to agree with Josh on this one. That is a ton of money to be spent on an early model, especially an eta.

                        Looks to be a perfect daily especially with the recent maintenance. Enjoy it.
