Seriously... ///M is Motorsport... just because there's an ///M on it doesn't mean it's an M3, or that the owner is trying to imply that it's an M3. Shit, I've got M stripes in places on my car (shift knob, steering wheel, a couple of other small accents)... it's not an M3, but it's got plenty of ///M parts on it and I'm proud of it.Originally posted by kencopperwheatThey were a factory option in Europe.Originally posted by MR 325///M badges... Cheers for the comments guys!
Just to point out the it's not me sitting on the touring, it's the owner of the touring!
Which isn't mine! I wish I could afford 2 E30's!
I agree with what e30mat said, the car is a factory sport model, with m-tech suspension/bodykit/steering wheel/knob etc so why shouldnt it wear an M badge?? If it was an M3 badge then that's a different matter! That's trying to make it look somethin it isn't.
Oh and Ken was right the badges were an addition made from new by the first owner.

Just confusion and habit Simon. We got only a select few factory Mtechnik cars, I think literally a few. I do recall the badge being a dealer option though.... :PIm now E30less.
