    You think a stock e30 sits high?

    I am the third lucky owner of this white on blue leather, 1991 Volvo 245. I call her, Simple.
    Or maybe Life After Mercedes.
    196k miles, plus 500 a week. 26 mpg 50/50 city/highway!

            What specific Volvo models (years) make a good 1st car ? Cheap/reliable/safe ?

              Aww man, theres a sweet W123 and an E28 (and what appears to be a W126 XXXSEL by the roof and pillars?) in the background :(

              I kinda like Volvo wagons though, cool stuff!

                1989 to 1992 240. Like mine. They are called 240, but a 244 is a sedan and a 245 is a wagon.

                New shocks all around was $180, a new master cylinder and a blower motor was another $150. 4 new tires, mounted was $150. And I paid $1200 for the car.

                The engines NEVER die. The only thing I need to do now is some bushings in the rear, but that is not even vital.
