what's the stock diff ration in 89 325i 5 speed ?

I need another diff, proly like 3:43 or something similar.
My stock diff in the cabrio is no match for the s52, 6k RPM @ 80 MPH on the highway

i've heard a 3.41 is a pretty good ratio for s5x swapped cars with the m20 tranny.

Alot of Automatic 325i's cars came with a 4.10 to overcome the torque converter drivetrain loss.

Only the sport models got the limited slip, if it's a stock 325i, it should be an open differential.

I have e36 M3 5 speed gearbox. I think I need 3.25 Diff from the Z3 or an earlier 5 series

PS I also think that the original diff in this 325 cabrio - is the 3.73 open differential

LSD was an stand-alone option on all E30s without the 'is' package.

3.25 is what most guys use with the e36 tranny.
