I love replicas and the pick and part strikes again.

Well I got my replica Mtech II rear apron on. Had too cut out around the tow hook which I wasn't to happy about but oh well, it is a replica.

did the all red tails as well.
tried wiring up the drivers side rear fog as well but couldn't get it to work, anyone have a DIY?

And lastly, went to the pick and pull again, picked up an "is" spoiler for $10, has about three inches of paint on it, but oh well, thats why they invented paint stripper.

I dig it. Even though all those parts are from dif kits they go well together. I am ordering my M-tech 2 apron very soon as well.

        Coming along nicely .

The rear MT2 valance matches everything well .
Is it a Eurostyle piece from Filip ?
Too bad about the rear tow-hook , I would have just bent it down with a BFH .

Going body color or black on the trunk spoiler ?

Badass. Could be fitted a little better, but it compliments the side skirts and your front airdam really well. Very nice!

I've always liked one-off kits, elements from different cars/kits that go well together. It's much more appealing to me than just a straight out-of-the-box body kit.

the skirts dont do the front or rear justice. needs the pods to pull it off.

Yeah, the whole bumper/fender combo on that side is a little tweaked as well. It fits like a glove on the drivers side, maybe I will see what I can do in the future. I got it off ebay from Decals King, aka Eurostop? same place I got the front apron from.

I'm not sure on the spoiler, I'm thinking black for the time being. Although it all depends on how well I can strip the 6 layers of paint that are on it off.

                Pods?

Hon, be careful when you go to strip that paint off. The iS trunklip spoilers are made of dense foam rubber, you don't want to damage it.

That explains why it felt squishy when I was taking it off.

Errr, that puts a damper on things. I may just have to break out the sand paper and give it a shot.

I would just break out the sandpaper, and take it down to where it feels the finish is smooth, primer it, and paint. A flex agent in the paint is also a good idea.

Well the front apron was excellent. It fit very well. This one was a bit of PITA because the Fiber glass wasn't even allthe way around, I had to trim and sand a bit, plus the rear valence on my car was pretty beat up as well so I had to beat on it a bit with a rubber mallet. I'm sure if I had started with a non-dented rear end the apron would have fit over it much better.

Be careful with paint stripper on that spoiler, it will probably dissolve
                            it.

I like your trunk wingless, so much cleaner tha having a regular iS lip.

I would have cut the tow hook off btw.
