    She's home...



    Just got from from my adventure with my new car! Flew down to San Francisco yesterday afternoon picked it up and drove it home. I love it. These cars were meant to fly down the freeway. More details and pics to come, after I scrape all of the bugs off and clean it up.

        black on black, 6k in reciepts in the last year, and 110,000 miles for 2 grand. Thats why I went to California.

            bump for new pics. Car looks pretty good. It got a hoaky paint job a couple of years ago. I think I'm gonna wet sand the whole thing and polish the hell out of it. If that doesn't get it looking good I'll just repaint the whole damn thing. Rockers are a bit rusty, which I was expecting being a NE car in the beginning. I'll fix thse too. Now it just needs suspension, a bumper tuck or plastic swap....and of course a 5sp. It begins.....

                    yeah it looks great from about 5 feet. Any closer and you can see the lack of love that was put into the prep job. Drives me crazy, but then again I've been working in very high end body shops since I was 19 or so.
