Thanks for the nice words, guys. Today I received the Euro Trim for the bumpers to eliminate the sidemarkers, and got 4 new rotors, pads, and both brake sensors. TOmorrow I am going to the dealer to pick up the rubber boot that goes in the gas filler neck cavity, and the styrofoam that surrounds the sunroof...the headliner (Microfiber BLACK!!) already arrived in Saturday (Thanks AutoArtUnlimited!!!!!)

I was told by the body shop that it should be painted by end of the week...Thursday I will stop there for more pics. By now the bumpers, rear window windlets, gas flap-door, and sunroof should be painted.

All I need is the suspension, which I am thinking is going to be Bilstein Sports and some kind of springs....still have not decided on the springs though. It seems the Ireland Stage 3 springs have the ride and the HR Race springs have the stance.

...decisions, decisions....feel free to comment on the suspension!

    :)

Hey bro, restoration is lookin great! i saw that you might need some contacts for trim and other such pieces. I know a guy here in Indy that parts out e30's for a living. he has TONS of trim/panels/blocks/transmissions fs. about 60% of used e30 parts on ebay are his. lol. Pm me and i'll give you his info tomorrow. I gotta find his number first.

dunno if you mentioned but what color are ya goin for?!

    EDIT: Found it. 317.524.8331

    Ask for Reggie
He's a great guy and gives KILLER deals on parts.

    Picture update!
This project is not moving as fast as other I have been reading about on this site, but none-the-less, here she is in the body shop:

Rear fenders have been rolled, but not pushed out. I'm hoping to have the car in 1 week or so...maybe I can start getting stuff together next weekend. The hood still has to come off, as well as the doors and boot lid for primer, and into the booth!

lol...i meant the used rubber windshield and rear glass rubber gasket....and the used door seals, not rubber the way 'rubber' is used.

not too much more to report...the wait for the car has me impatient. got an IS lip to be painted black, some clean bottle caps that i will paint myself, and the little cilyndrical caps for the centers of the bottle caps.

    ...i hate waiting....

Nice score on the windshield and trunk liners. I've been wanting to get a new battery cover for my car...they get so scratched up.

One week down, but how many left to go? When I took all my trim off for detailing, I just went to my parts guy at the dealer and we went through the parts catalog together picking out all of the clips I needed. I wound up with a few extra (have no idea where they go), but at least I got what I needed out of it.
    :D

two weeks left for me to get te car back. i have already ordres about $600 worth of stuff from bavarian auto for the re-assembly...clips, clasps, moulding slides...etc.
still need a sunroof, truck and hood seal....and a car cover to protect the new paint.

    Just an update:

Almost 1 week down for the wait to get the car painted...my eagerness is far from calm. Last night I picked up an excellent condition front and rear windshield, non-ripped sun-visors and the entire carpet and liner kit for the trunk: $120.

Also got my Abraham Euro Grille!

I'll be selling my used rubbers shortly as they are not in terrible shape, so keep on the look out!
