$700 is really not that much considering the guys quality, but I was not prepared to pay that for VW Recaros going into a BMW...I's have done it for BMW Sport seats tough. I'd like to keep it OEM. :)Leave a comment:

700 seems reasonable. If the guy is good and has good references. i paid @ that.The VW seats were sold on early March. I really wanted to stay OEM with the car as much as possible but within reason. I got a quote of $700 for upholstering the Recaros excluding doing the rears, so I canned it and kept the original seats. They dont hold you in as well, but they are comfortable. The heated elements makes them so much nicer on brisk mornings. :)Leave a comment:

I was quoted 450 a seat to reupholster some vw recaros. I don't get it... they are a common seat, it shouldn't even be that much.Leave a comment:
