    Upgraded from my ETA...

So a few months ago I posted I was tired of my ETA, and wanted a late model e30. So I had a few people at work looking out for my late model e30 325i or iS (nothing else). After about 2 months of looking into buying e30's, my friend tells me about this e36 for sale that he just detailed and said it may be cheap. So I call the owner and it turns out he was right. I went to check out the car and fell in love! I picked it up the next day for a mere $4750 cdn (~$4550 usd), which is over half of what I see them selling for!

Just some quick specs about it:
    - 1995 325i Sedan
    - M Sport Package (M Suspension, 16" Wheels, Sport Seats)
    - Premium Sound Package
    - BMW-montrealblau-metallic
    - 124,000 miles

Now I know its an e36, But I do love it & I will miss my e30. I hope to get back into them after I finish high school - maybe then I could afford a cabbie or M3.

    something about e36's i just don't like.

i think it may be the gray molding around the whole bottom of the car. i haven't looked at enough of them to know if they look better painted or not.

    any plans for it?

I would love to say I've got big plans for it, but for now I don't have much planned. A new windshield, fix the rust, and repaint the grey strip to match the car. After that it all depends on money and what I want to spend on it.

Are 2 oor e36's hard to get? Cause all i mostly see is 4 doors.

Fuck you traitor!!!, Just kidding its looks good(for an e36), You should keep your eta for a swap later though cause your not gonna want to F-up the e36.

Nice car. FYI the gray molding on the side skirts actually has body color paint underneath (not sure if that is the case 100% of the time, but it was on my buddies 1994 325is). Read up on instructions how to safely remove the gray molding. IMO it makes the car look way better to have body color side skirts. He and I were able to remove it completely in about 40 minutes.

Yeah or maybe he traded his ETA in to afford the e36.

I still do have the eta, its sitting all alone in the far corner of the back lot at work :(

And yes backtrail, it was detailed earlier that week and it rained the night before that. I still haven't washed it...
