    Are E21s allowed here?

I just got this car, and I really wanted to share. I know it's no E30, but it has major character. I paid...well...very little for it. It runs like poo, it's the color of poo, and it's automatic, but it's got 96,000 miles on it and it's cute. Meet Cocoa:

I think the bumpers are hilarious and I kinda like them. My coworker offered me rear Euro sheet metal for free, so if I wanted to spring for the bumpers, at least I have that. Someone else offered me an S14...

I don't really want to dump money into it just yet though. I'm still trying to figure out how to make it smoggable since it doesn't have the thermal reactor anymore, but...I dunno. I'm considering just letting the car sit in my garage for a few years until I can afford to fix it up. It's too funny to sell.

Freaking LOW millage e21. e21's are SO comfortable to sit in.

Be careful, they back end of e21's like to get a little tail squiggley when pushed hard.

Yea, the bumpers - AWESOME for parallel parking, you'll never worry about that car on a city street.

          Nice find.

If you've already got the euro bumpers, I have TWO sets of manual Recaros for sale out of E24s, plus early bases for the seats so they should bolt in... Both sets need leather work, but the pricing is fair.

That just made me realize something. This is the first RWD car I've ever owned. Weird.

Edit: Stop trying to make me broke. :(

You're just jealous. I might let you drive her if you're nice.

I still like the bumpers. When I look at the car, I laugh. Then I get in the car and see the funny multicolored light-up buttons and I laugh some more. It's a funny little car.

Nice find. I like E21s, as a matter of fact I had a '78 many many moons ago that i purchased from the original owner. I'd still have it if I didn't hit the center divide @Governor Dr. & I805 north (bald tires & heavy rains don't mix).

Can I buy the rims off of you?

You need this car for parts. It's some customer car that has been parked out in front of the shop where I work for about 6 months. He cant figure out what he wants to do with it. It's rusting away, but it has the full Hartge H3 body and a manual tranny.

By the way, one of my instructors in the BMW auto program at school was talking about you and your award a couple days ago. Thought that was interesting that I actually knew who he was talking about.

That's a sad story, poor E21. :( What do you want the rims for?

That car is awesome, I want the bumpers and air dam! (Yeah, that's right. I want the bumpers.) I wish it were closer! I've even got the rear Euro sheet metal that would go perfectly with the rest of the neat body parts on that car.

Wow, your instructor was talking about me? What did he say? I gather he read the article on Centernet, I don't know how else he would know about me. Weird, I don't feel famous, but that's really cool!

Uh oh, she's gonna have a HUUUGE ego.

Seriously though I could have told you Kellie was awesome a long time ago. The rest of the world is only now learning about the scope of her awesomeness.
