    E30 Next To A 28-Inch Tire...

Photo credit goes to Geordie Johnston of Atlanta. He posted this on Bimmerforums a few years back, I saved it. Decided it's worth a repost...

When I read the title...I said to myself...."Hey...I have seen that before."

            G's E30 became my E30 about 1.5 years ago.

When i bought it from him...it did not come with the 28 inch tire. :(

            As she sits now...

(**Geordie actually took this photo just last weekend at Road Atlanta)

A 28 inch tire is nothing. I have friends that run 44 inch tires on their off road trucks. I had 36s on my Jeep until I sold it.

Those are on what, 15" - 17" rims?

This is a 28" rim. The overall diameter of the tire is probably close to 36".

                  Imagine a 28" rim.

Ah I thought you were just showing like a regular 28inch tire. That kinda looks like a performance tire. Fail on my part. And yea, on 15 to 16 inch rims were the 44s and 36s. Another kid I know has 52inch tractor tires on his K5 Blazer.
