    1988 MB 300TE " PartsWagen"

UPDATE ON PAGE 2 - Springs Installed

Just a few shots of the shop car I'm working on putting together. I know it's not o.e.m.+ design style, But it is a "Budget Based Parts/Customer Shuttle" vehicle. Not trying to win any shows. The H&R springs comming tommorow. Not bad for an old lein sale car I had in the back of the shop getting dusty.

    Sorry, Only cellphone shots though.

Looks like with the springs, it's gonna rub. Leave it to the owner of my shop to buy some e-bay wheels instead of getting the AMG Style 129 I told him to run.

I have been fiending over at 190revolution.com, After seeing the 2.3 16v, I "pulled this one out of mothballs" so to say, And I needed something to do as volume is down in the auto industry in SoCal. I didn't realize how much 80's euro styling gets me excited bout cars.

nice!! Wagons are sweet. Not diggin the wheels much either, but they are way better than what was on there. Get some clear corners, too;).

I know it needs clear corners, we just bought brand new oem replacments after the paint, but I do know it will make it look much better, even hoping of doing the inside of the grille gloss black to offset the color between the chrome.

Keep the stock wheels paint the centers gloss black. Cut one coil off the H&R's and itll be hot as shit.

                    Great lookin wagon either way!

it will be awesome with the H&R springs !

some AMG wheels would look much better than ebay replicas and I'd leave some black moldings or at least black handles for some contrast... but not bad for the lien car. Wagons rule!

Sweet project! My old boss had that exact car in black. He dropped it on Eibach springs and had some older AMG wheels on it. It was a very sweet ride and drove like a rolling bank vault. I was pissed when he sold it since I would have bought it had I known. Now he drives an E500 and wishes it was as durable as his old wagon.

                        Tim

Need to do something with the tint, too...looks terrible from the side and you don't want your customers getting pulled over. :D

Service Manager of an import specialist, and, in the building next door a gerneral automotive repair shop. Anything not stock, or, not maint / R&I, we don't do. Keeps down headaches, and, stress too.
