Randy Sparres e30 ! (pics)

i have to second that about randy's car making me buy an e30. I used to have an e36 318i and after seing his e30 over at max...i fell in love with the e30 and decided to buy one. Shortly after i got my beauty and sold the 318i.

His numbers were way higher than 214. im not sure just how high though. If you look at the feature cars on dtmpower.net his car is in there. Check it out.

Still my favorite e30, then comes Steve Avezedo's e30 widebody m3. both of these cars are awesome.

why is everyone bashing 4 lug? i have driven 600HP cars with 4 lug...one wheel had a broken lug so we ran 3 for an entire track day....whats the big deal about 4 lug?! 5 is a just in the 1 in 50,000,000 chance you break 2 or 3 lugs all at once which everyone knows will never happen...

I'll bet my 2 cents that at least 1/2 of the people that bashed here once likes Randy Sparre's car, with the Honda paintjob and the Rieger Kit, even if they dont admit to it.

Just because the Rieger GTS kit isnt all the rage anymore, dont go bashing the guys car.

When I got into e30s, back when DTMPower still had a decent e30 forum.... Randy Sparre's car was known by all and a lot of ppl loved it. Hell even Jordan had a GTS kit for a while and ppl kissed his ass for it.

Now just because the GTS isnt "cool" anymore, dont start bashing the guy's car. No, I don't like it. No, I dont believe the stolen story either. But I'm not here to bash his car. Reminding myself of how clean his car was on the first e30 video's I've seen was what inspired me to stick with e30s and to learn all that I know today.

I used to love that car also. Now, I like it less and less. His car is what really got me into e30s. But yeah, it isn't really cool anymore, but props to him for being one of the first to go all out.

I wasn't bashing, but since you asked. . .
I don't like the 4-lug hub because it limits my wheel options. Many OE wheels can be swapped among the various 5-lug BMW models. With the E30, you are stuck with OE E30 wheels or aftermarket. Also, I don't like the look of 4 lugs on a 5-spoke wheel. We would probably have more brake upgrade options with 5 lugs too.
