                    It´s actually ground clearance,

                    with the usa trucks they still have there drives and suspension sitting low, while the truck it self is high, totally wrong way of doing things,
                    by raising the wheel size you effectively raise the diff and rest as well and gain ground clearance, it´s needed when driving on glaciars.

                                                            AWESOME CAR!! I would love to go back to Iceland my father was stationed there when I was a little kid in 84 and then I went back for a week in 05 I loved it there!! expensive place too.

                                                            but they shut down the American AF base so I don't think I will be able to get back except on vacations :(
