Well I like how these came out, but I need to get rid of my stock suspension. These shots just aren't as good with a stock suspension. Other things to fix is that damn turn signal. I know it is wiring, not the bulb. And yes that is an Alpina Z8, number 531 of 555.

I would have taken more, but a cop out of uniform drove up just to tell me I couldn't be doing that. Luckily she was nice and kinda hot (still a cop though), and she let me take a few.

Alpina Z8 is the gayest fucking car that any tuner has made out of a BMW. Hey guys! I have an awesome idea!!!! I think we should take an E30 M3 Sport Evo, put a basically stock m10 engine in there with a 4 speed automatic gearbox and add some giant wheels with Alpina stickers. What do you think?/ Maybe the gay American public will buy one because its slow and automatic?

Yea the car sucks in terms of how "race inspired" it is. No matter, with a $140,000 price tag on the car, and in terms of the area in which it resides, I don't see why it wouldn't sell here. People here have some really nice, but occasionally really stupid expensive cars. Like this Z8. And oh boy I couldn't keep count of the SUV's around here...

No matter! And here's a Photoshop I just did. Amazing what suspension and wheels will make your car look like. I do like the look with no turn signal lights on too. I just wish they made these basketweaves in 16"x 8"... :x Rear wheel does look funny though...

It's called "we've got a couple of Z8 bodies lying around, and we no longer produce the M5 motor for the car" They gave the rolling shells to Alpina, who stuck in the X5 4.6 drivetrain and tranny.

For what the car is, I think an automatic tranny makes a lot more sense than the 6 speed in the Z8.

4.6is engine you say? Last I read at the Chicago Auto-Show '03, BMW's little stand with info on it stated that Alpina used the 4.4 liter v8 and stroked it themselves. Nevertheless, I still think the car is a complete waste and disagree that the automatic is more suited to what the car is used for.
