That paint looks great. That, an olive green, is one of the ideas I'm entertaining when I respray. I think it's classy and laid back, yet crisp and firm at the same time(if that makes any sense). Also considering staying Alpina.

What ever happened to something simple like white or black... maybe silver? Haha, I don't hate the olive drab, but I bet you might after a year or two.

Olive drab is a sweet color - can't wait to see it on a boxy car. Here's what it looks like on a Honda:

Kidding of course...figured that would get a reaction.

I actually chuckled at the Honda comment because I've seen a few Subies re-painted in an oliveish color, but can't think of any Hondas. I had a 2002 WRX for three years - one of the best cars I've owned...80K miles, several track days and the engine was tight as a drum (both compression and oil analysis) when I sold it. Almost wish I'd kept the car and made it into a dedicated track rat.

Here it is doing its job.

Subies are good cars. (had a 560whp STI)

will you just be putting the fenders on, or will you be cutting the original flares off, to gain a little extra clearance?

Seriously, I see the appeal to Sportmax rims, but they just look awful on your car and are really holding it back. If you can afford a color change, you can afford some better rims.

your car looks really really good, i have 2 questions tho!
how hard you putting those flare and side skirts on...
do you need to drill holes on the fender to secure the flare?
