So I picked up another e30

LOL!!! So I picked up another e30 when we went down to LA for Dubfest...... its a 4 door sedan, 5spd. Its a fun car, I like it a lot.

I went to DubFest with my brother and a whole bunch of my volkswagen buddies.

My brother's car that won 2nd place in his class at Dubfest.

I also lowered my cabby another inch all the way around. Its way too low, I can't even make U-turns. LOL!! I got a set of 16x9's on the way. The 17s are way too big.

    Before with 16" bbs RS's.....

Before with 17" MRR GT1...... (wheels for sale)

The stock sedan and the Cabby with its current suspension setup. Weitec 60/60 kit with drop hats, Short bodied Koni's, shortened strut tubes, and lowered perches.

I think im a bit too low........ :(

Any closer pics of the current wheels ?

Aslo hard to believe you've put all that time into the front struts and are still running conventional coils .

with good springs its not necessary to have coilovers. I would take springs over coilovers any day!

I love the contrast between the car. For some reason I am drawn to the stocky sedan more than the cabby.

For the record I chose springs over coil overs on the front of my 2002.

Thanks!! I spent the time to do all that because I figured, the car is an slugomatic, its a convertible, its never gonna see the track and I prolly will never need to adjust the height. Its more of a cruiser than anything else. So I went ahead and spent $600 instead of the $1500 to run coil overs. I couldn't justify $1500 to just cruise the streets low.

The ride is awesome, sometimes I forget that its lowered, till another stock car rolls up on me and I see the door handles when i turn my head directly, or when a lifted truck rolls up next to me and i can see the car on the other side of them, also whats funny is when i think i can completely fit under a semi truck's trailer.

I am completely happy with my setup. :p

 Thanks guys for all your comments!!
