    My 318is

Ok, so I've been on these forums for a while and never really introduced myself, so here it goes:
I bought this car when I was fifteen(2 years ago), and I bought it as a "total loss vehicle". My dad and I restored it with new rear quarter panels and authentic M-Teck II bumpers and spoiler, and painted it ourselves in our garage. Currently the car has over 320,000 kms on it(and on original engine). Now for the mods; chip, 4.45 diff our of a german e30 320i auto, ssk, cone air filter (for the added noise), 14.5 rear sway-bar, baffled resonator in place of the cat, Dynamax muffler(doesn't sound ricy at all with the resonator and muffler combination), B&G springs, Bilstein shocks, Strut tower bar, 16 inch BBs wheels re-sprayed gold w/machine lip, and Falken 205/45R16 tyres, fan clutch delete, and some foglights that may or may not be staying behind the grill. This winter I'll be fabricating up a skid plate, re-doing all the bushings, buying black leather interior, painting valve cover and intake manifold, and hopefully installing the m20 flywheel inplace of the existing dual-mass one.

Looks pretty good! I would say get some spacers to push those wheels out much farther, that would really set it off. You plan on finishing up the M-Tech II kit?

I'd really liek to, cause I do have the complete sideskirts sitting outside my house, so maybe that'll be another winter-time project. And at hte moment it currently does have 10mm spacers on it. how much more do you think I could go?

You do? What offset are they originally? You could push them to 20 or even 15, but thats cutting it close...

I'm not quite sure. The wheels were on the car when I bought it(one of the reason I bought it) but it also has lenghened lug bolts. think I'd have to get even longer wheel bolts?

Ha ha, no. I pointed it the original alpine white II that was on the strut tower sticker. And yes, we have quite a few e30s. a 1990 320i Touring, 1987 325ic, 1988 325is (my winter beater), a 325e(stripped and a new 320i motor with 50,000 original kms in its place), and a 320i M-tech that we bought for parts(currently residing in many tupperware containers in a shed out back. I'll try to find some more pictures later.
