    i got this one on my car now. I sand blasted it then painted it with RustOleum met. silver, and the stripes are sprayed with Krylon. I used a DA to sand the ribs and BMW. Sorry for the huge pictures but i uploaded them awhile back and didn't feel like resizeing them and uploading again.

    Edit: I couldn't imagine paying up to or over $250 for a valve cover even if it is the tits

    Damn straight. That ACS valve cover has been my E30 holy grail for 5 years. They pop up on German ebay from time to time, and generally don't end at less than $250. But with my M50 swap looming in the distance, I won't have much use for it anymore. :(

    my valve cover is better just because it hides an extra cam. :)
