hah i like how i started a thread like this a long ago and everybody told me to search but this guy can have it. but the coolest in my opinion is this.
Anyone on the boards got a crinkle-coated M20 valve cover with exposed (silver) stripes and text? Post a picture of it please, I think that's the next step for my valve cover and intake manifold.

Seriously, over half the pages in this thread has that setup, I think I can't tell on some because of the picture resolution but there's a few pictures of them.

Stop crapping in this thread...look when the thread was made, before you even joined. Clown...
Since these pics, the exhaust sheilds have been painted with hi-temp flat black, and the (rest) of the intake manifold was cleaned up with a wire wheel. However I tried to "touch up" some spots on the valve cover and messed it up... so at some point it is going to come off and get done over.
You know what all of you guys running cast iron manifolds need? POR-20. It's a high temp (1400 degrees-ish) coating that you paint right onto the manifolds and it's silvery like all of the pretty coated headers. It cleans up the engine bay like you wouldn't believe!
