215/50-16...it's the correct tire size, but a little lower profile wouldn't hurt.

Thats actually pretty oversized. Thats a 15in wheel tires size. 205/50, 215/45 or 225/45 are 16in wheel tire sizes.

Looks great! Something I have planned long term for my car is that M-Tech I kit.

Wow bro. I remember seeing your car when you got it back from paint from before I think without the Mtech kit?

Very pretty. I'm going for hte same thing just minus the Mtech kit. Nice job.

How does it feel to spend 5 times the value of your car just to make it look like it once did when it was new?

            lol

When I got it back from paint it had the m-tech on it, just no suspension, new rims, exhaust, euro grilles or ellipsoids.

It's an interesting feeling to spend that much...not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing, but what is good in the long run is that I love my car.

You guys are killing me with those beautiful pictures of the M-technic I kit. I have been driving around with my kit (minus the front valance and side skirts) for over a year-painful.... I think it easier hitting the lottery than finding a front valance and side skirts.....

                    Seriously though... beautiful cars!

                    Paul

If anyone has those parts LET ME KNOW!

Even the interior looks great! I can't tell from the pics...are those vinyl seats? Or did you have them redone? I can't wait until my seats are in one piece again, thank you for the inspiration. :)

By the way, you're missing the little M-stripe emblem on your steering wheel. Is that intentional?

The front seats were originally leather (they were in really poor condition), but I recovered them in vinyl to match the rear seat (which came out of an '89 325i). The m-tech badge on the steering wheel was crap, so I removed it. I've just been too lazy to order a new one.

I've ordered custom leather shift and e-brake boots from Rob, which will have matching M-stripe stitching down the middle. I'll take a new pic when those are installed.

Looks minty fresh man. Now all you need is some power under the hood. :)

I've got a dinan chip and K&N filtercharger...I'm also installing IE long tube headers today to complement my B&B triflow, so there's a little more power than stock...nonetheless, I agree, a turbo, stroker, or s50/s52 conversion is in order. I just figure I'll get the most out of this engine before exploring one of those avenues.
