Spring Break is different for different colleges so it would hard to make it during a time everyone would be free.

I will try to put together a kick ass event for may and possibly find a solution to the shower problem. Of course the river is just down the road from the campsite. Bring some soap and go old school.

I say make it for mid/early spring right after school is out for the summer. I also say make it a 4 day event so we can plan other things to do together.

I now not everyone can make all 4 days but I would like to make the Spring rally more of an event (with camping of course.)

I think a 4 day event is a great idea, except for those not being able to take a shower, but it would give more time to get more runs in on the dragon and time to do other things. Like run over to pigeon forge and go cart race or hit gatlinburg or listen to Steve pick his guitar and sing the blues or whatever.


What about the time college takes spring break? That would allow alot of the younger guys to come. Or even right after they get out for summer break is good too. We just need to make sure the campground is going to be open before setting a date in stone that way there is no confusion on where everyone is at this time.

I think one of the main reasons it isnt done is because of the M50 swap. As soon as i was going to put a rear bumper on it , The m20 started giving me problems. So it sat for 6 months then got put into surgery.

Matt , what I'm saying about the verts is that the platic bumper should fit right on,with the apropriate shocks & side brackets, without the need to shorten/section it .
This is due to the vetr body having the same rear quarters/lower arches as the late model E30's .

Now of course this is no fix for rear valance area , for that you already know what your optiona are .

And suck it up crybaby , I'm not picking on you . ;)

Lol, the only reason i got pissed is because i got my hopes up. I know the rear arches are the same. So i ran outside to check again and the bumper is indeed too long. About an inch i would say.
Ill post pics tomm.

I have a valance that I am about to cut off but we are currently debating whether or not we plan to keep it for the 87is project car.

Unless you have a heated garage I would wait to do fiberglass work until it warms back up. If you can wait until spring I can help you out.

ahh that looks soo much like the roads around asheville (where i used to live), technically they are pretty much the same. Too bad I'm in the wrong continent at the moment. Fix your bumper mattd14312r3 I will not put up with your 1/2 finished cars next time around!!!!
