    not mine but coworker's

Sorry for the crappy phone pix. Digicam is dead for now. '87 325is. 37k miles. That's right. Bone stock '87 with only 37k miles. bought from a previous co-worker in '89 or so...garage kept. Paint is so new. Shiny!

    That's right 37k miles...

Wow, and i thought cars in the 80k mark were low mileage. Congrats to him, now put it in a museum and sell it in 20 years.

That's a friggin' time capsule. Most 87's have 200k (or more) by now.

Normally I would agree, but there are a million other e30's out there to flog. I'd like to see one of these be kept stock and preserved; there is not a lot of low mileage well preserved examples left.

I'm sure it would seeing as when they were shipped over here from Germany they were all covered in cosmoline.

I'd have to agree with uofom3. This car is way too nice to abuse like that. I mean-seriously, there are plenty of e30's to track, heavily modify, etc.
Yup-garage kept under a cover most of it's life. Bought in Ohio-hence all the cosmoline in the engine bay. He's cleaning it out next week. The only ding on it is a tiny scratch under the rear left window. CLEAN.

sweet car, I ran into a low milage car once (Volkswagen) I thought it would be in better condition than it was, however i Realized that even though it such low milage, it was still the same age as rest of them. Tell him to hold onto that.
