I might give it a try tho, as there should be plenty floating around from people upgrading to alloys...

Did BMW make a 16" steel with E36 offset? (anyone??)

PS for anyone wondering, I have E30 m3 suspension, so i'm not mental.. yet...
psloan's car is running 17" steelies. BMW made 15-17" E36/E46 offset steelies. Black and silver.

I wish that was my car. I'm going to run e30 steelies on my 2002.

              WRONG

That is my car. And they are 17x7 steelies. Only offered in silver. And yes, they are steel, not the stamped aluminum. Come from an e46 330. Offset is et47, so you will spend more in spacers than wheels. I am having them widened after the holidays.

Actually, I am not wrong. I live in the land of OEM steelies for winter, and there definitely are black 17" ones.

Interesting. I'll take your word on that, I didn't consider the importance of the actual material (for widening, I understand now). I just call them "steelies" not necessarily pertaining to their construction but rather the appearance.

                      Carry on.
