    My new project car

    It's a 1967 BMW 1600. It's the earliest, most rust free and unmolested model I've ever seen - and in a rare color no less. It's seriously a time capsule. It still has the orig steering wheel - which if I'm not mistaken was only on the first 4 months of production 1600s. It also still features a mechanical clutch and a long neck differential. I also know it's old - because it has a generator instead of an alternator. It's been sitting since I was 2 years old. Yes - I paid way too much for it. however, I saw it and said "I must have this" then I made it happen. I'll pick it up from Birmingham, Alabama the weekend after Christmas.

    My plans are so so devious....

    Nice! Someone on the local craigslist had a 69 2002 ti lisde for 200 bucks running order the other day. I sent him an email and have not heard back. pretty sure its gone.

    GL with this, i want one sooo bad!

        Willing to bet it's a scam. There's very few real ti's in the us - but a handfull in canada. I think I saw the one you were referring to though.
