    Happy Bday and Merry Xmas to .... me!

    Well got bored the other day at work and found this little bute at the local Carmax and decided to go out and rescue her, now I know she's no e30 but you probably won't hear me complaining.

    She's a 2002 X5 3.0i, Steel Gray Metallic, SP & PP with 65k on the odo.

    Check your front CV boots, and rear ball joints(they're in the lower a-arms), they seem to get iffy around 70-90k but otherwise those 3.0 X5s are damn solid machines!

            Everything is going fine so far; checked her out on the lift before I bought her and looks like a lot of the service parts had been done before it was sold to Carmax.
