Don't forget the euro bumper trim, sans side markers. And while he's at it shave off the trunk mounted rear brake light and shadowline the trim around the passenger compartment.

I like the chrome, it's staying, same with the third brake light. I'll pass on the euro trim too. I'm pretty happy with the way it looks as is.

well, hold out for that mate. my 4.45 made a world of difference! good luck searching, i was luck mine fell into my lap.

your car looks very nice indeed.

Is it a 4.44 or 4.45??? My shop and the seller I found said it's a 4.44 that came in the 318ti, and people on these msg boards say it's 4.45... What does your diff tag say? You're lucky you found that diff, can you tell me more how it changed the car? You seem to be the only person I've talked to that's done this mod.

                tks

my tag says 4.45, but it wasnt out of a Ti. mine was from some bizarro Japanese model. but the general consensus is that its a 4.45.

the biggest differnce it makes is in the acceleration off the line and out of corners. it also makes the m42 feel better geared. like those difficult slow corners where the car used to want 1st gear, i can now leave it in 2nd. ppl will bitch about it on the highway, but it seems to be fine for me. the revs are a bit higher, but its not that bad. that said i dont spend much time at constant high speeds.

but like i said, acceleration is where it is most noticeable.

Awesome, I can't wait until I get one! I drive mostly in the city and on the hwy for about 15-20 minutes every couple days. I know what you mean buy wanting to down shift into first, now I won't have to :)
