Gave up on the e34 idea eh? I have still been looking, thinking about an e39 540it6 too. :) If I go e34, it will get the s38 w/6spd.

Why not get an e34 525it and boost it? If you don't like that option S50/s52 is a super easy swap and gives you power levels really close to S38. It's also much cheaper to fix if you do nuke something.

I am a NA fan. And its a completely different car with those motors. I want to make an m5 wagon. Besides, the m5 lumps handle boost better than all the x50 variants, if I were to go that route, which I wont.
