    My "new" E30.

    Hey Guys,

After owning just about every other kind of BMW out there, from 1600's to E32's, I FINALLY bought an E30. Its a 1990 325is, Alpine White II over black, 5 speed. Its all stock for now, with 273k km on it. Runs well, drives nicely, but needs a few items sorted out. I own a BMW specialist repair shop, so it will be up to snuff in no time.

Shopping for suspension this week, and also planning on a set of Rota RB's with 205/55/15 Yokohama S.Drive tires. Chip will be the next mod, along with all the maintenance stuff. I'm a firm believer in the best mod of all, the "Fix it Mod".

Don't want it toooo low. Its my daily driver. Looking at Bilstein BTS kit, or Bilstein Sport with IE stage 3's. Can't decide yet.

Bilstein sports and IE stage 3 is great on a daily driver, I've got it and i definitely recommend it. Looks like a realy clean car, I agree to fix all the issues first, was a great mod on mine when I got it. I'm jealous of how clean it looks on the outside, and that it has a black interior.

Wow, thanks guys. Glad you all like it.

Logger, I own Seams Perfect Upholstery, as well as Classic Image Auto, both in Surrey.

Pat, grab me on MSN if we're ever actually on at the same time!

Blunt, Volvo got sold. Nice car, but I got super sick of paying for an 06. Fuck it, not worth the payments, when an old BMW is so great, and so cheap!

Dillsnick, yup, its got the winter package.

Well, owned it about 2 weeks now, and I'm really loving the little guy. Tons of fun to toss around, and super cheap to run.

Installed Bilstein Sports with Bav Auto springs on the weekend, as well as 15x7 RD's, and 205/55/15 Yokohama S.Drives. VERY happy with the overall package.

I went with the Bav springs because they are cheap, have a nice stance, and they're fairly soft. Its my DD, so I didn't feel like bashing myself to bits on potholes. Same thought process went into the 15's, rather than 16's. Bav springs are a little soft, but nowhere near bottoming out, which is what people seem to say about them. I had the same setup on my E32 as well, and really liked them. Sure, not race car stiff, but again, this is not a race car. I'll likely add some larger swaybars in the future, to flatten it out a little bit.

Still haven't got around to replacing the front valance, or taking some proper pics, but another local dude snapped these on a club drive on Sunday.
