M3 Pouserstyle, or, Back to Stock?

So, I finally found the need to use a poll, and thought WWRD? I decided this was not in any way anything I've seen brought to light, or, talked trash on. So, without further delay I ask you...

    M3 Antenna

    Or, Knockout the bondo, and...

This is the projects present state, so it's not really like this is an urgent choice.

You can check the progress of the build here...

Well, flamesuit is on and ready, one way or another.

He doesn't have to have been. Every poll gets the Rob option. Period.

Delete the stock antenna and go for the E36 antenna.

Yeah I'd say antenna delete mod + stick on window antenna.

No, window antenna. I think the E30's look great without any protruding antenna at all.

I agree about no antenna protrusion..

But how does one retro fit a window version?

(those front windshields with antenna-wire incorporated come to my mind)

I like the idea of the e36 whip antenna. I retro-fitted this option on my e30 m3 cabrio replica. It looks great! It takes a little bodywork but it looks like your project will have some body work to do anyways. You will need the base unit grommet and flexible whip antenna. I'll see if I can find a pic.

                          Found a few!

                          Hope that helps.

take them both out and fill the hole on the roof too

keep it, the back needs body work already
