Another Alpine 318is

The drivers wheel bearing has been getting loud for a while and the 225s finally put it over the edge.

The bearing came off really easy. A little heat, then a few cranks in the gear puller and off it came.
I still have to paint the backing plate and clean up a few other things. Then put it all back together.
Few pics of my garage.

I got it up in Quakerstown PA last January off craigslist. It been great, Ive only put 5600 miles on it since last year. I dont drive that much. youll love the 318 it really is a blast to drive (the gas mileage is great too)
Ive got a 98 A4 Wagon(nothing special) it for sale as of now(E30 M3 Here I Come). The 318 will be a perfect car to keep the miles off my M when I get it. I clay everthing, the insides of my wheels, jambs.
Intake manifold is stock. I took off the valve cover and intake manifold to replace a bunch of things and painted them while they were off.

Where'd you find that one at? Looks great. I should be picking up an alpine 318i in a week or so albeit not as clean as that one.Leave a comment:

Its not really that clean. It has its share of dents, scratches and chips. Im just really picky about how clean my cars are. Twice a month it gets clayed, then zymol and 2 coats of Mequires NXT.
I've been workng on new wheels for summer .

Theyll be refinished and have 205/50/15 azenis on them.

Definitely not a beater to most. That interior and engine bay look tits. All it needs is a lip and rear valance paintLeave a comment:

If thats your beater,... would it want to sport some Borbets instead of those Koseis?Leave a comment:
