Nice work, I just came across the thread while I was researching springs. You said that the 50406s were lower and stiffer than the 50404s, can you tell me how much so? And, how do like them with the M3 Koni shocks? Thanks and good job.

n00b question here, what is a VEMS?

Im using it to get rid of my AFM and get better throttle response.
I'm working on building a plug and play adapter so it plugs into your stock harness just like motronic. Still need a few more parts but its a fun project.
Its really popular with the m20 turbo people, its a bit more expensive than megasquirt but has a few thing I like better and still uses Megatune software.
Hopefully I can get the car to run with it.

any progress on your spare M42 engine?

Not really.

I just got a used VEMS setup ive been slowly working on installing.
Kind of put the motor on the back burner. the motor in the car still runs so good and I'd rather break that than my fresh motor with my hack tuning.
Ive never done an aftermarket EMS so im learning as I go.
hopefully I'll have some BIG things done on the car by spring.
