I was told to do 75mph then goto 1st gear... maybe thats why mine isn't purring like it should.

You should, that's how we break in all the M42s we rebuild at my shop. It works like a charm and they really sound good afterwards! Go do it right now, it only takes a few minutes. The faster you go, the more effective it is too.

Um, thats definitely (shitty)throttle modulation, not the revlimiter. Its retarded that he's blipping the throttle like that instead of holding it steady, but nonetheless he's telling the truth in that regard...
