    they are talking about 1982 and the 3 series makes it's debut ! Pretty cool I thought !

            yeah, becuse it came out in 1982, same year as the e30 debut. You can also see the pic of Jilles Villeneuve in his Ferrari F1 car (he died in 1982)

              Haha, I walked in the door after school and picked up that magazine. My friend was getting something out of the fridge and I said "Hey!! There's an e30 in Autoweek!!" He couldn't understand what was so cool about that, and I think all of the "euro bumper" stuff, etc went way over his head. Of course, we were in the M42 on the way home, and I was trying to explain to him why it was faster than his '92 Camry V6 ;).
