    A guy I know at school had an E30 M3 Soph. and Jr. year and got an E36 M3 Senior year.

            cf hood :down: don't dig it, unless you are going for true weight savings its not worth it...only an eye catcher, and if thats what you ahve the car for...shame on u!

                    speaking of kids having nice cars, you should come down to my school, la jolla high, and see what the kids have, 2 kids have e36 m3s, but those arent close to the top, its rediculous, escalades with 23" rims, so gross...

                                        I have had 6.5in speakers which have hit lower and sounded much better than MTX subs, and I am not even an audiophile. :P

                                        Either run no sub, or get a quality one.

                                            i got these subs and the box for $100 from a local m3 guy. seemed like a good deal, but i have yet to wire them up. should i completely ditch them?

                                                I'd sell everything for more than you paid and then buy a single 10 or 12 and a ported box.
