Thanks guys for the compliments, Im going to keep updating this thread with the progress I make with it.
Like today, I cant stand manual windows to I got some electric windows out of the JY. But when I was looking for the wireing harness in the touring I ran across a rats nest of wires from the PO attempt on a cheap ass kill start alarm. So I spent the last 2 hours of light today removing it, and thank god cause that thing was anoying having to disarm it everytime I wanted to start the car.
On a good note though the wire harness was in the door for the EL windows so I dont have to wire that.

Does anyone know if the rest of the wire harness should be in the car, like under the carpet for the window switches?

those arent MHW tails, they are just painted ones. its a law here, I know because i got jacked by the polizei here a few years ago. It turned into a big fine.- you need to have e code reflectors on the rear of your car here. I actually had to stick some of those reflectors on the back of my truck to pass inspection here.

As far as the wiring harness, i would guess that it is not in the car. I would also dare to say theat the harness for the electric windows was also not in there- you just saw a harness for the winter package-- heated locks/mirrors- and central locking.-- but I am not sure i didnt see the car. It could be that because your car was on eof the last ones, they stuffed a "large" wiring harness in it though too.- but I have yet to see and e30 with the switch harness and not have power windows.- your easiest bet would be to pull up the shifter boot, and look in there and see if you see connectors for the switches.

I did pull the complete center console out and there is no harness. Im going to pull the carpet out this week to steam clean it and then we will know for sure. And when its not there, well it just give me an excuss to tell my wife so I can go parts pick'n:D
But the connector was definitely in the door. I had the panels off today.
