That does nothing to explain away the crappy worksmanship/materials issues. Interior goodies will begin falling of between service intervals. Don't evre try your own repairs, the Mfg (VW/Audi) decides to supercede parts on an afternoon basis. I have only seen one brand have 32 different iterations of an upper radiator hose on a jetta. Bummer for you is they mostly all crossover to your new ride. good luck, enjoy the extended warranty and get to know your service writer well, bring him cookies.

The interior seems very nicely made - much better than all of the e46s I was looking at. Certainly better then my e36 or e30...

I do not have a problem describing this car as mint. One would think it has 5k miles.

Those Audi are the biggest pieces of trash on earth. They payed mad bills. Every owner I knew wanted to sell theirs.

No Mr. Sloan, everyone is right. While Audi's are fun cars to drive and can make good power, the maintenance is ridiculous on them. I have some friends that run an all VW/Audi Performance/maintenance shop. If there is a new car in there, its an Audi. IF there is an older car in there, its a VW. And if its a VW, its getting a sick turbo upgrade or comes in as a project car getting AWD or something. Drive it gentle and do as much maintenance as possible then sell it when you find something else. Sorry man.

It's funny - the only negative feedback it has gotten is on this board. Otherwise the reviews, ect seem to be pretty normal if not really good. I've read all about the problems that these cars have - and most seem to be due to user error.

I like Audi's FYI. I have never owned one though. Just passing along what I have seen and been told from those in the know with these cars.

People that love Audi's of course would never call their obsession high maintenance German doodoo.

Well of course. On that same note, I hear all over the place about how expensive BMWs are to maintain, ect.

The bottom line is I paid cash for the car and am sticking with it. It is out of warranty - but has been well maintained and is in great condition.

You made a good choice man. Take from someone who owns a dub and has tons of dub and Audi friends. Just make sure to sell it before 100k. It will drop in value like a stone, a big heavy stone.

                                Paid 11k cash, bish.

Don't get me wrong - it sucked paying that much. but it will be worth it in the long run. Now I need to figure out what I want to replace the e30 with.
