    "Winter" beater.... icey pictures.

This is not my winter only car, this is my dirty e30. I am pretty sure only a select few have ever seen it. It has its winter wheels on (thanks ray!) and with the LSD handles decent enough in this weather. There is about 2-3 mm of ice on the car, along with its many flaws. This Feb. will be getting around to fixing up a few, black windscreen gasket (front and back), pinstripe removal (since its not colour consistent), valve adjust, timing belt, rear sidemarker, side mouldings, etc.

The car is an 87 325 5spd, has unknown mileage estimated at 250K+ miles. Sitting on bilstein sports and eibach iC spring up front, h&r sport in the rear (minus spring pads). Its not pretty, but its never given me trouble in the ~6 yrs I've driven it.

PS. I know the panels don't line up too well in the front, it was in a minor collision when I purchased it from my uncle, so everything is a little off. This also explains the pinstripe mismatch, and front bumper sag. Quality. Oh yah, the interior is grey cloth, with black panels. Actually near mint condition.

Where the eff did you get that lip? I know they are old school rare race car lips or something, but on your winter beater...? anyways. cool car, cool pix.

Great pics. Red and gold combo goes with the background nicely

Ya I like how the car contrasts with the stark, wintry backdrop.

That lip also came on early-model 318i's. Some of the early 318s also had a front lip with 2 brake ducts, and some of the early etas used this lip as well.

BTW that is a very nice winter beater, love the rims.

Damn, that's a beater?!?!?! Looks really good and well taken care of. I wouldn't call it a beater.

I guess I should clarify more, this is not my winter car. This is the car I have driven for the last 6 years and no other. Things also look better from far away! :P
