    New Member With A Shark...

Hey guys, I'm really enjoying this forum! Even though I don't know most of you, just wanted to share my BMW with you guys. I currently have a '89 BMW 635CSi L6 edition.

A little about myself: I'm turning 17 soon, and my father and I have been in this BMW game from when he bought his first 2002, once he got his license, he stayed with BMW ever since. He's owned several BMW's in his years, and VW as well. We're currently trying out the E24, and man we love it. The funny thing is though, we've always planned on buying an E30, but never got to it... hopefully are next BMW will be an E30.

A little of my car, not much:

-Metallic grey exterior, grey leather interior
-M-tech body kit (Front lip, rear lip)
    -M6 suspension
-BBS RS 16" 3-peice rims, going to be widened

The rest is basically stock, but it sure hauls!

I don't have any good pictures at the moment, but I do have a video I'd be glad to show you guys!

      what is the L6?
looks like a pretty cool car, and a nice collection of cars you had.
thinking about adding an e30 to the list huh?

The L6 is the Luxery 6 model. Everything is leather, dash (we removed it to plastic, leather began to shrink and crack). Panels, glove box, pillars, literally EVRYTHING is leather, its nuts.

And yeah, I really like the E30 body, and would be nice to have around.

The L6 is cool cause it had a B35, but weren't they all auto's? the L is for luxury correct? I don't know much about them cause they weren't very desirable. I parted one out once with a friend to get the B35 into his E28

Yep, they were all auto's. And your correct, L stand for Luxury. But the transmition has a 3 mode. E, Sport, and Manual. So its pretty great. The only undesirable thing about them, is that the dash, and the top peice of the door panels, were all leather, so it would always shrink and crack. But once we got our L6, we removed all the leather where there was a chance that it would get screwed, and bought the regular plastic dash. Its great now!

mtechnik, I'm running Yoko's sport tires haha. There still brand new, so there's still quite alot of grip. That's why we always try to aviod doing burnout. :D

Just remember not to rev the car in neutral. It will send too much pressure to the first two clucth sets and blow the thing up. Otherwise, great car, even if it is an auto. The M6 parts make up for that, though.

Didn't the L6 even have leather headliner?
