I think.....I hope, that he is refering to the corrosion that occurs between the steel hub and the aluminum spacer over time. After the studs are removed, galvonic (sp?) corrosion can make the spacers a bitch to get off.

My antenna sits on the rear deck next to center brake light...inside the cabin of the car. It still gets great reception.

UPDATE: So i lowered the rear a good half inch today (almost all the way down on the coils in the back now) I Also rolled my fenders in the back more. I went to swap my adapters and i CANT get the fronts off! so i need to go to my friends house with airtools.
