I do not like Nader. (Non e30 or BMW content)

Today was not that bad of day so i cleaned my Corvair up and took some pictures. I have not put the 140hp and 4 speed in it yet. And i got a 180hp Corsa Turbo parts car, so i have not made my mind up to what motor i want to put in it. I'm thinking the 140hp. But here is some better pictures of it since the last time i posted it. I still need to paint some of the int trim pieces blue since i got them out of a black int. car. The car is a really dark blue.

Things i've done to it since i last posted it:
put in stock seats with new covers
    new arm rest
    factory tissue holder
    correct 1965 wheel well trim
    headers with straight pipes
    deep oil pan
    chrome air cleaners
    put a tach in
took out the halogen sealed beams and put in the original T3 headlights
    1966 chin spoiler
replaced side view mirrors with correct "bow tie" mirrors

The rusty parts car. I'm waiting for it to fall in half.

          Run the 140/4spd.

Your car is beautiful. I miss my Corvair (a Corsa 140/4spd car) :(

              nice!

My dad used to have a 65 vert. He really enjoyed the optional quick ratio steering box in his.

It's actually a blue (Danube blue). But very hard to tell in pictures and real life, till you get very close to it.

And i think i just may go ahead and use the 140/4spd. Cause it's a very low mile over-the-counter GM motor.

And the Joe Dirt car is only 20-25min. away from me. He never drives it cause the cops told him to take that pile of junk off of their roads. Even though it's all "hollywood" makeup on the car.

You'll be happier with a 140, IMO. They're a BLAST to drive. I drove a turbo car, and it was fun, but my cammed 140 was way more fun.

Have you had any experience with the single 4 setup on the 140's? Cause it was on the 140 motor that i got. But i think i got the stock carbs for a 140 somewhere around here also.

I ran a Holley 390 on mine for a long time - my stock carbs were worn to shit. It ran fine for me, some guys say they have problems with the intake icing up, but I had no problems. My 140 issues consisted of valve seats falling out of the heads. I had intended to run the triple throat Webers, or fab up a manifold and run a Megasquirt setup, but I kind of lost interest after a head that I had just had fixed (by a local shop) dropped another valve seat.
