Nice find. Keep it original. Just slam it and be done with it. I wouldnt fuck with it in the slightest. Find another beater E30 and then start modifying it. Its getting harder to find clean examples like yours. Dont mess it up.

am I mistaken or don't all euro models have headlight wipers?

Very few actually have headlight wipers. and many don't have ellips of any sort.
I use to have a 1987 316 that had the crappy yellow sealed beams (with H1 bulbs).
On average, the Euro cars have much less options than the US versions. One can easily find a plastic bumpered e30 with roll down windows. I use to have a 1988 with heated seats, headlight wipers, and manual roll down windows that I bought in Germany.
