The E36 owner revelation that ET20 wheels work makes me laugh. Of course, I'm running ET23 Contours in the winter. :p

Ehh, I wouldn't say that. Guys have been running ~ET20 wheels off E39's for ages (Style 5's, anyone?). It's just hardly anyone has run throwing stars. That honestly surprises the shit outta me cause they have the same specs as Style 5's but with the centerbore that actually fits the E36.



And the Turbines will look silly....silly hot!! Trust me guys, it will look good.

I wouldn't say ages, everyone was on the nuts of that guy with the black 318 (TuffGuy?) who now has the Style 5s on the red M3/4. It's definitely a fad that only came on in the past 2 years, max.

You're right (I would've said ~5 years tops). But in the world of car modding, thats a relatively long time. Fads come and go. Either way, I wouldn't call it a "revelation".

Anyways, the majority of E36 guys (on Bimmerforums at least) are idiots. The guys that are "in the know" are much more knowledgeable and laid back. I wouldn't say I'm in the latter group quite yet, but I'm working on it.
