Hell, I'd rock the monochrome red. To pull it off though it's going to need a serious drop and some really aggressive wheels.

          'Grats on the purchase.

Well, he does work at Maaco. :) It looks like a decent job other than the trim and wheelwells both being red.

Oh, and simple designs or not, you're not going to find those wheels on any BBS website I don't think. Looks like someone just bought the vinyl stickers from eBay.

Yeah, that's why I found the joke to be exceptionally a propos.

I think I remember seeing those as a BBS wheel. They have some obscure smaller models.

About the car, Im not a fan of the painted bumper strips, not on any BMW even the E39s. BUT, it seems like a decently clean car. With a drop and some other wheels it could start looking pretty damn good. IMO.

It's not uncommon for a mom and pop dealer to throw a 500 Maaco paintjob to try and get another grand for the car. But obviously he is ok with it or else he would not have bought the car. Welcome to the e30 fam.

Needs some detail work, but overall not to bad.

Just gonna try to get a nice lip splitter and some aftermarket springs.

Eventually going to revert back to black trim, shadowline and smoke the lights.

Going all red and black :D

euro bumper trim and black mouldings would make it really hot.

looks good as it is though.
