New M3 at Dealership, Terrible pix, but that's ok.

Stopped by, paid retail for some oil filters because I heard it was there.

Both cars are display only, not to be driven or sold. I should have taken more, but a tripod would have made them much more clear anyways. Who hasn't seen pictures of it anyways.

It doesn't command presence. It's nice in person, just not wow inspiring. I expected them in front of reception, but they are back to back in the row of cars, and to be honest if I didn't recognize the wheels or side gills immiedetly they could have been just another new 3. Oh yeah, 70k? Hm. Enough chat:

I don't think many noticed the E30, ohwell.

Yep, still need to do the valance and mirrors waiting on some things.

Yeah, cool pics, but your car does take the cake. I get a good chuckle every time I see pics of it. Not in any negative way of course, it's cool.

M3's get bigger, M3 badges get smaller...
Looks washed out and common commuter-ish.

Chrome bears, beside chrome x5 20's.... not bad. ;)
              Below the radar...

Hey cool, we just got our first pair of them today too. My gosh is that a comfortable car. Too bad they're both dark blue.

I'd rather have your car. The new M3 is a luxury pig with a peppy motor.

I guess we just missed each other, I was at the same dealership today around 10:30am trying to locate some parts. Sucks to own a 20 yo bmw sometimes....

I was a little more impressed with the silver Alpina B7 they had in the showroom than the M3's. You can see it peeking out in the background:

Oh the things I would do to have that car in blue....

Of course it was love at first sight for me at the Orange county auto show last year....

                            Yeah....

How does it feel to go from sittin in those babies to back in your E30 in the lot?
For me it's like i need to readjust to the old feel, but at least the E30 clutch doesnt feel like a feather

The first time one drove past while I was walking, i realized it was impressive. I heard one punch it a few days ago also.
