How old are you and what do you do for a living?

I would love to drop a little under a grand on my car!

    Must be nice.

i ordered the motor mounts and the brake kit from turnermotorsport.com

their stuff is race proven, and they have really decent prices.

the motor mounts were $155usd, and the brake kit (drilled rotors, ceramic pads, stainless lines, super 200 fluid) was $375usd.

the motor mounts are great because they are heavy duty rubber, vs the flimsy stock rubber, and the cups are aluminum and help to keep the mount from seperating like my old ones.

    P.S. I love your car.
    What's wrong with tokicos?
Oh and OP, where did you get those motor mount cups??

i installed the motor mounts already, now it doesn't cut hoses anymore. (2 lower hoses cut by power steering pump, bypass hose cut by engine fan) i plan on doing the brakes/suspension this weekend. i was originally planning to get the H&R race springs (spec e30) and bilstein sport shocks, but the tokicos popped up for like $250 ( brand new) and my stock suspension is completely broken, so i just have them for now. i will upgrade once the tokicos blow out (i've heard this takes about a year).

the car is just going to be a toy, it is already semi-gutted, i am getting nitto nt01's for it when i get a set of wheels. it should be a fairly competitive car, as for the driver, i need some more experience before i get really serious.

You realize all those solid bushings are going to put you in an Auto-X class with gutted, prepped slick wearing race cars right? That's if you care about being somewhat competitive.

And raise the NVH to a level that you probably won't want to drive it on the street.

Not trying to rain on your parade, just throwing it out there.

started a topic my 325e is coming back to life!

my 325e is coming back to life!

i bought a 84 325e about 6 months ago, it had a blown head gasket so i got it for cheap. i finally got around to fixing the car about 2 weeks ago. i ordered some new parts for it, cause i plan to road race/drag/autocross it, maybe a litle bit of drifting as well. it is going to be my all around fun car.

here are some pics of parts i bought.

    so far i have:
    drilled rotors
    braided stainless brake lines
    ceramic pads
    super 200 racing brake fluid
    tokico shocks and springs
    solid motor mounts
    solid subframe mounts
    solid diff mount
new front and rear shock mounts

i also have a 2.7l motor with an "i" head, shrick cam, lightweight flywheel, and a set of headers. also have m3 trans, and 4.10lsd rear.
