i ordered some more parts, i got steel lower control arms, with offset delrin bushings, and new bushing carriers. the new bushings come pre-installed in the carriers, so its bolt on.
the bushings with carriers' (preinstalled) were $278 shipped, and the control arms were $152 shipped for the pair.

Did you get them from pelican parts what that actualy the cheapest place?
I need a set...
Thanks for the info.

They are soft, low, and sag so much over a few years that you don't even need a spring compressor to remove them. Not to mention the shocks blowing every 6months or so. To get an idea of how much pitch/roll you'll have, my car on tokico seen here.
With nito nt01's, it is possible for me to scrape the IS lip on flat concrete.Leave a comment:

I just installed offset eurathane (sp?) lcb and am very pleased. My stock ones were hammered, I think that is why it was such a huge improvement both in the handling and ride departments. If my budget wasn't soooo tight I prolly would have sprung for the treehouse ones instead, but for the price I am really happy.Leave a comment:

today i installed the rear suspension and brakes. they work great. the only problem i'm having is with the balljoints up front. the driver lower balljoint is worn out. from what i've been reading, i need to replace the whole control arm right? that won't be much of a problem, just slow me down a little. who has the best price on control arms?
another thing, if i'm gonna replace it, i might as well upgrade, so heres some more questions
steel or aluminium?
standard bushings or offset?
rubber bushings or solid? (aluminium, delrin, .......)
any suggestions? feel free to post up.Leave a comment:

I beat a mustang once in my 300k 76' 2002. Unfortunately, it didn't mean my car was fast.Leave a comment:

even with the pitiful eta motor, i schooled this guy in a camaro, he was talkin shit, and we raced off a light, i let off at 60mph, after pulling about 2 cars on him, and then he says "i missed a shift.", his car has an auto trans!! it was a v8 camaro.Leave a comment:
