Looks like everything is pulling together nicely.

One question though, the control arms you bought, was there anything special about them or were they just stock replacement. And even though you got them from pelican, do you know the manufacturer? I've heard that meyle are cheap good replacements but the ball joint rubber starts cracking after 6 months or so.

I need new ones post haste and I would like them to be affordable but I would also like to not have to replace them in a year or so.

    Thanks

as far as i know, they are just regular steel stock replacements, nothing special about them from what i've seen.

still no pics, but progress has been made. i dropped the front subframe yesterday, w/motor & trans, + front suspension all intact. i am going to purchase new subframe bolts, because mine look like they're going to fail. while i have the brake hoses disconnected, i am going to install my front braided lines, and change the brake fluid for Ate super blue.

i just need to put the new motor on the subframe, install my jbr flywheel, new clutch, and the 5-speed trans. then lift it back into place.

hopefully next weekend i will have the drive-line bolted back together, with my new csb and guibo installed.

harness install will be next, unless i put it on the motor before i reinstall the subframe.
