Beginning to mod my buddy's e30

Its a 1986 325es. Its been in my buddy's family for quite some time. His dad is a technician whom I have had the great pleasure of working with. The car is well maintained and care has always been taken to keep it in top shape.

The cosmetics are another story, however. Chris, the owner of this fine little machine, and stared doing some freshening up of the exterior.

We removed the grills and taped for some paint:



This is me painting the kidney grill with truck bed coating. stuff sticks to everything! The horizontal grills are done with normal satin finish trim paint.

If my eyes serve me correctly, that undercoating is made by chemsearch right?

I used that stuff for my grills and for my black underneath the doors and on the rear valance. My friend went through like 4 repaints on his IS lip with regular semi flat and I gave him a can of that stuff and he never had to again!!
