Whats up guys.

I recently just bought my second e30. '91 318is... not bad. needs some tlc, but overall great for what i scooped it at. my other e30, a 85 eta thats slammed, loud, and has a giant gash down the oilpan, i am selling to a junkyard (long story, ill post another thread).

I already got a list of things i want to do to the new one, which cuts more than half the list for the old one. Anyhow, nice to be back again. ill post pictures up as soon as i get new ones... might be tonight.

i got two questions:
1. What will a m42 sound like with a straight through exhaust with a magnaflow muffler?
2.whats the best way to get fogs to run off parking lights, not headlights? i searched, but nothing was definite for my car. and im not one to do trial and error or drilling/molesting a perfectly fine car

with the fogs you can jump two pins on a relay - the relay wont pop in all the way down but it stays put and you have the fuse box cover to protect everything anyway.

dont know if the pins are the same for the 318, so i suggest just searching for "independent fog" mod

Tell me about it. I've never seen an 02 that clean.

Glad you bought it! I actually went to check it out last week, and it's a nice car. Just a few things wrong, but it surely didn't deserve to get parted.

that i will do.

my plans are to:
take off front valance, straighten the fog light dent, smooth it out
fix the windshield (stickers are over a year old O_O)
drop
rims
fix back bumper strip
5% windows
stereo system
and a whole respray

not a whole bunch. but sure does beat the list for the other car. haha

and just taking the front plate off is like that part of the SAT, if you put your name down, it gets you XXX amount of points. haha. it looks ALOT better without it. lol

Glad to see that you bought Paul's car! Definitely a good thing he didn't part it out, its a great looking car that needs very minor work.

Well, the car all together is great for its age. It needs a respray and lil dings here and there repair. Nothing noticable untill I point it out. The thermostat, brakes, and other mics things need attention. But hell, its a plastics, great interior, and perfect for a m50 or ls1 swap... :-O

Yes, a meet NEEDS to happen. I know a place that has a good section of twisties, but a huge parkinglot under the 820 lake worth bridge, and its lighted and such... not bad. I got a buddy who will roll out too... dropped 318is, alphine white, nice 16's bbs's, smoothed front end... BA car...
